J. Michael Cogbill

Of Counsel  •  lcah@lcahlaw.com

“Mike never met a technicality he didn’t like.”

Mike Cogbill is a lawyer’s lawyer, the epitome of professionalism and sharp intellect. Mike is a native of Arkansas and began his legal career at the Department of Justice, after having served as a Captain in the U.S. Army.

Mike has a keen ability to analyze any issue and his strategical skills are second to none. Mike’s talent for legal analysis and articulate yet plain spoken argument has been the bane of many plaintiff’s attorneys. His thoughtful and common sense approach is something to which any young lawyer should aspire. His analysis of any legal question is insightful and his advice not only concise but spot on.

Mike served for many years on the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct, and his concern for ethics in the legal profession is evident in his practice. He is one of those lawyers who can beat you in the courtroom, but you would still want to have a drink with him after court.
