Charles R. Ledbetter

Of Counsel  •  lcah@lcahlaw.com

"Charles is an icon. He is equal parts southern charm, legal genius and a killer in the courtroom."

Charles is a native of Fort Smith and has long been an advocate in and for his community. Others might describe him an icon in our legal community but he would probably describe himself as a storyteller or a salesman. Truth be told, he is widely regarded by his colleagues, clients and opponents as one of the best litigators of our time. That is why his advice is still highly sought by colleagues and clients alike.

Charles has served his community in many ways over the years, including serving on the Civil Service Commission and the Boards of the Fort Smith Public Library, U.S. Marshall’s Museum and First United Methodist Church.

Although his practice has slowed, he is still very involved in the firm that bears his name. He remains available to his clients and his partners who both benefit greatly from his wisdom, common sense approach, and ability to get straight to the heart of the matter. When Charles talks, everyone listens.

In his non-legal life, Charles is an avid fisherman, follows the stock market closely and enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Jeanne and their family. If you go to a local charity event, you will likely see this darling couple and they will probably be the first on the dance floor.
